The Quilt Festival has come and gone, and we’re back to regular production. This year I attended the awards ceremony for the first time, which was great, and afforded a fantastic opportunity to get up close and personal with the winning quilts.
Here’s a detail of one of the winners. Amazing embroidery and appliqué details.

And this was in a Special Exhibit. The light and color are so fantastic. You can hardly believe it’s a quilt.

Here’s my entire album. It was a great show, and I met so many delightful people. The inspiration was palpable.
My website server is still having some conversion pains so until I get things ironed out I’m linking to Flickr for all my media needs.
